Learn how CuratorHunt works
Setup, monitoring, signals, alerts and billing: everything in one place.
Getting started
- Create an account and a workspace.
- Enter your company, competitors, topics and keywords in the onboarding wizard.
- Review the suggested sources (they are guesses, not verified) and confirm the ones you want.
- The first check of each source records a baseline. Signals appear when something later changes.
Configuring monitoring
- Each competitor and topic has a rule: categories, frequency, alert threshold and quiet hours.
- Frequency is limited by your plan, from weekly (Free) to hourly (Business).
- Pause or resume any rule, or archive a competitor to stop monitoring while keeping history.
Understanding signals
- Every signal has a headline, description, category, source URL, detection date, confidence and relevance.
- Facts are stated by the source. Inferences are our interpretation and always cite the signals behind them.
- Open a signal to see the exact evidence excerpt and, for changes, the before and after text.
Alerts, digests and reports
- In-app alerts appear when a signal clears your threshold. Email alerts and the daily digest need the Starter plan or above; every plan gets a weekly summary.
- Reports (weekly competitor, monthly market, comparison, launches, pricing) use only stored intelligence and export to PDF.
Plans and billing
- Plans differ in competitors, topics, frequency, history and reports per month.
- Owners and admins can upgrade or cancel on the Billing page. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period; over-limit items are paused, never deleted.
What CuratorHunt does not do
- It does not log in to sites, bypass paywalls or anti-bot controls, or fetch pages disallowed by robots.txt.
- It reads page text only, so content rendered purely by scripts or hidden behind interactions may not be visible.
- AI wording, when enabled, can only rephrase quoted evidence.
Contact
- For Enterprise plans, security questions or support, contact the CuratorHunt team using the details provided at sign-up.
